"The Look of Love" by Sarah Jio
*3 stars*

Sarah Jio's novels are a cozy place to go after finishing an
intense, dark thriller. I'm not the most romantic of people, but I’m a sucker
for magical realism, so that kept me intrigued with the story of Jane and her
gift/ability to see true love.
Parts of the story were a bit cheesy, some parts were
slightly predictable, but others were just sweet and heartwarming... I may have
shed a few tears, even though the cynic in me hates to admit it.
I can't say I would or wouldn't recommend
this novel. It was set in Seattle, which is one of my favorite cities that I've
visited. Additional points there. Overall, the novel reminds me of the movie "Valentine’s
Day" with all the interwoven stories of couples and the flower shop.
Cute,
sweet and enjoyable.
