*2.5 Stars*

I received an
ARC copy of “My Sunshine Away” through
NetGalley.
I wobbled
between 2-3 stars, and between reading and giving up throughout most of the
book. It's told from the point of view of an obsessed teenage boy who is a
suspect in the rape of a neighborhood girl in 1987. It went on and on with teen
angst and obsession.
Every
time I started to quit, I realized how well written it was and kept going.
I'd already seen buzz about it on lists of books for 2015.
If you think like a teenage boy, (or like to) you might like it. Otherwise, I'd say, pass.
